The "national security" excuse is pure BS. These are Oversight committees with security clearances. How can they oversee anything if any content that those investigated don't want them to see gets withheld. There also comes a time when even the public deserves total transparency to see what kind of crap their government has been pulling. If they've done nothing wrong they have nothing to worry about. I can't think of any reason that details like who said what to whom should be concealed in an investigation like this. Pure and total BS.
