Maintenance

I'm not typically big on maintenance; moderate cleaning every now and again; nothing religious like I did back in my Army days...

Well, today, I decided to clean an AR that I've been using for some time without cleaning... Rifle has had the better part of 700+ rounds thru it since last taken down but no issues... About 1/2 of those rounds- suppressed, so to say it was dirty is an understatement.

Well, then I gave it a moderate decent cleaning... I thought I was done, but then I decided to pull out the buffer & spring.. Hmm. Pin holding the buffer together was coming apart... Ruger had a two piece rubber and silicone ring deal for the bumper; the ring split; and the pin holding the two partly knocked out... Ordered myself a replacement...

Yeah... I guess I need to clean the guns more.. Thought I'd share...
