My second try at home fur tanning

Muskrat and mink. Came out pretty good, didn’t have to work the mink much at all. Nice white tan, hide is pretty limp. I used the alum/pickling salt solution, about one cup alum, one cup salt to about a gallon of water. Soaked for 4 days or so, then rinsed. As the hide dries, I work it a bit and have a rope tied off, pull the hide back and forth over the rope. I also have a half circle shaped piece of metal with teeth that I carefully work over the flesh side.
