New survival watchMy buckle finally came in today for my watch! And I got to put it together! It’s a g-shock Walmart clone but for this initial project it will suffice, that and if I kill it it was $17. The buckle has a whistle, fero rod, and a knife built into it. I happened upon a product called survival cord. It’s standard 550 with snare wire, fishing string and a wax coated string. It’s rated 880. I’m a big guy and built it big. I’m gonna tape a pair of bream hooks on the bottom of the watch when I get home. This setup provides, cordage, snare wire, fishing kit, fire kit and knife.
