Ballistic Helmet Question

Hello everyone. In a break from the dumpster-fire of news nowadays, I had a question for those much more experienced in identifying gear than myself.

I purchased a pair of what appear to be ballistic helmets from a overstock/surplus store.
Totally the signs of legitimacy, I know.

However, there were an exact number of authentic 3A ballistic vests with these helmets. (I checked the liners.)

They're weighty, probably a good 2-3lbs, so not plastic by far. Only discernible markings is a brown spartan helmet (trademarked apparently...) with 'Highlander' stenciled on the rear of the helmet. No serial number, nada. So potential Chinese garbage to be sure. That said, I've reached out to the armor companies with that logo to see what they say.

That said, these helmets have me stumped though. Heck, I bought 2 of them for 30$ apiece, so I can go shoot it to see what happens, but figured I'd ask the knowledgeable survivalistboards hive mind before I trust it for anything more than a water balloon fight. I'd definitely be interested if anyone else has this similar gear/knows what to look for in terms of legitimate armor.
