Heads up truck drivers (and everybody).. Had someone try to attack me

Just be safe and vigilant out there.

I was at one of my stops in Houston (near Freeport St and I-10). I was going into the store, and saw a guy a little ways behind me, so I held the door open for him. He slammed the door shut from the outside while I was still holding it and he stayed outside.

I continued with work, and came out about 5 minutes later. He was waiting by the truck, and threw a beer in the open window and started walking toward a group of "thugs" in the adjacent parking lot.

He then started staring at me and began sprinting toward me- I made it into the truck and he spit at me and was shouting "what you gonna do, MF'er?"

I locked the door and began taking off as he was trying to open the door, and at the same time the other group was moving into the street to presumably try to block the road.

I made it out, and just got home. I can only assume it is because I'm white in the hood coupled with the current environment. (these guys were "gangster" looking hispanics).

Probably won't respond here today, because I have to sleep now to be back at work at midnight.
