Also everyone has privileges and they differ based on where you are, how you grew up and the type of person you are. If you are an extremely wealthy black man, in many situations you will probably get treated better than some average white guy who doesn't have much money. It isn't really a competition though. It makes no sense when people try to compare privileges with each other to see who is ahead of the other.
The entire purpose of the conversation of privilege is to help get everyone to the same area, because no one should be scared walking down the street at night. You shouldn't need to be male, or white, or wealthy, or be physically strong or own a gun or any of that, people should just be safe walking down the street. That is the ideal situation.
If you think privilege is entirely made up and doesn't exist, then let me ask you this. Does going to a public school in a nice area give you a better education than going to a public school in a poor ****ty area? If so, then how can you claim no one has an advantage over anyone else? Making sure everyone has a good education, regardless of who they are is something we as a country should strive for.
You can say wanting a good education for your children is just envy and people should shut up and accept whatever scraps they get. But if you actually say that, you definitely can't take the moral high ground on this topic.
