Cheap home solutions

Need to check what's allowed in the area you're looking at.

Even though the property may be isolated, it's not invisable. Sooner or later an official of some kind is going to stumble across it and check its records.

It may take years, but it will be checked out eventually. Best to get it ver with or find a way around.

Near my 2ns residence in Michigan a guy got around the codes Dept a while back.

My area has limits on building sizes and other such nonsense. This guy wanted to put his travel trailer on his property to live in, but the township said no.

So he had a large pole barn built, with water and a septic put in. The township checked it out and approved it.

Once the township approved it, he moved the travel trailer into the polebarn, hooked it up to the electrical, water and septic.

He's had that setup for a long time and seems to like t. Don't know if I would, but to each their own.
