Hi!

I'm new to this community but I am thankful to join! My wife and I are leaving Pittsburg PA and moving to a 10 acre property in Southern MO sometime in April. It's a nice piece of pastureland in between wooded areas right next door to the national forest.

We plan to build an 40 x 40 earth bag structure and going from there in building our own place. Garden, water systern, garden, maybe a small pond. It's pretty secluded and doesn't seem like we will be bothered much. Closest town is Winona which seems like a very small town. Van Buren seems a bit bigger. I'll know when we get there. Any kind of help or tips in adapting to this new lifestyle will always be appreciated.
