Outdoor masonry stove/oven - shtf food prep

Hi all,

I have been considering building an outdoor food prep area and am thinking about a brick oven and a masonry rocket stove or two.

Have any of you done anything like this? If not, what is your plan for sustainable cooking assuming there is no power for an extended period of time? I know lots of people plan on using propane, solar ovens, or conventional wood stoves.

I have a small Coleman gas camp stove that works great, but I figured something larger and more permanent might be nice to have. Plus we have plenty of firewood, so it seems like a viable option. Thoughts?
