Stun Gun vs Kubotan. Which is better?

I've been taking karate since I was a little kid. So since I know Japanese martial arts very well, I got used to the Kubotan very easily like I thought I would. A month before I knew about the Kubotan I got a Vipertek 880 28M volt stun gun. I now have 2 close contact weapons. Based on my opinion, I think the Kubotan is the winner because it has no batteries, no accidental discharge, and much less likely to be taken and used against you by an attacker.

However, since the stun gun's effectiveness kind of puts me in a tug of war between which contact self defense weapon to take, I think I gotta ask the experts first on which self defense tool is better. This is my first post here by the way.
Question I have to ask for self-defense experts: Which self-defense close contact weapon is better? Kubotan or powerful stun gun?
