My husband practically hides under his wheelchair when I get started.
A few highlights (because a lot of immigrants become cab drivers, and I meet them).
1. Guy who threw my husband's wheelchair out of the cab and into the driveway because I wanted to sit in the front seat.
2. Guy who accused me of "flirting" and angrily told my husband he had to make me stop. I had talked to him the way I did everyone. He really would have freaked if I used one of my southern endearments on him.
3. Guy who yelled at me for disagreeing with my husband, and told me I could never do that. We both laughed at him and said we live in America, a little conflict makes for a better relationship.
4. Another passenger, a woman in hijab who demanded I shut up because I was "loud and annoying". I continued to talk to my husband. She make a big production of objecting but the driver didn't tell me to shut up. I was dying to ask her when she got her parts cut off, and is that what made her such a miserable woman. My husband kept telling me to think about Jesus, which did control my temper. I also figured she had a knife under there.
