Gorsuch Appointment should not require rule change

Both Obama and Clinton each had two SCOTUS appointments that went through without a Republican filibuster.

Historically, it has been accepted by both sides that an outgoing president will not be able to appoint a justice in the last year of his final term. What we did with Obama's token pick was not a departure from how we've always handled SCOTUS appointments

Gorsuch is a great choice. I see no reason why batcrap crazy Pelosi calls this a "Hostile Appointment".

I'm starting to wonder if we have reached our event horizon wherein cross party collaboration is no longer possible. Are there no rational liberals with whom we can reason?
