Milo wasn't a victim of the left's totalitarian regime, attempting to destroy anything and everything in their path. He dug his own grave with the comments he made - and as smart as he is - he should have known better. He made some statements about being a 13 year old boy engaging in sexual activities with grown men, and Catholic Priest pedophiles.

He had some interesting perspectives - the problem is, fundamentally, it was only a matter of time before his "flamboyant" lifestyle pushed the envelop just a little too far, and average conservative disavowed him as being just as damaging as he was helpful.

No doubt the left certainly didn't want a gay, conservative/libertarian parading around and possibly drawing away some of the LGBT base; but they have merely capitalized on his own lack of awareness for what he was saying - not caused it.
