If I am understanding everything correctly, the Oregon governor will soon be signing a bill that will allow gun confiscation based on mere accusations. Before the victim is even accused of anything the police can take their guns.

Roommate made at ex roommate, they can just tell a judge the felt the other was suicidal.

Soon to be ex wife can just tell a judge she felt afraid for her life.

Doesn't have to be any proof, just accusations and a sympathetic judge.
