Wife wants Visa, not happy with MasterCard. I wouldn't care but that's the flavor she wants.
We don't travel much so think a cash back type card would be best fit for us.
Interest rate, really don't care, we pay it off month by month. Late payment fees, we don't care, we pay on time, every month. Annual fee, we do care, don't want one. Balance transfer stuff, don't care, we don't owe any balance to put on it.
Capital One seems to be one of the top companies but I don't see them using anything but MasterCard.
Citibank looks to offer a 2% cash back option but doesn't have such good reviews online.
Chase might be a possibility, and comes in a couple of different flavors.
Bank of America is another. I didn't like them years ago but have no recent (as in this decade) experience with them.
Wife said no to AMEX and Discover.
USAA is good for military and former military, neither of us are.
I can use my debit card only for a while, I suppose. But I really like having the separation of my funds and the card reader be a few more layers.
Interested in your thoughts if you'd care to share.
Thanks!
