Ear waxI have bronchitis and one ear is plugged from sinus. Doc checked other ear and was surprised i could hear because of earwax. I was planning on softening with hydrogen peroxide but in the past that took a week usually longer. My nurse niece said maalox or Docusate sodium, the liquid stool softener works great to soften earwax. I just have hydrogen peroxide so I'm using that and she's bringing her kit to dig it out. Q tips are bad because they push stuff deeper. I mostly lost my hearing once because of the impacted ear wax pushed by a q tip. It couldn't be flush out, had to see an ent who used a vacuum to suck it out. Not only really loud but lost my balance for a brief time. Don't let them stand you up too soon.
