Question - Bears VS your food supply

I have a question:

We all know bears go for your edibles, because they smell yummy food, no?

What if I ONLY carried foods that bears dont eat? for example, dried beans, and barley and some salt?

Would the bear not completely ignore your food stash, because it doesnt smell anything it recognizes as food? Or do they eat barley bean soups?

I know most will say "Bear Bag". However, I want to take it one step further, and come up with a plan were the bear wont even want your bear bag in the first place.

Any ideas?
