Oh, sorry, that was not what you asked.
My understanding is that sealed whiskey and vodka, the high proof liquids, are good for decades. But 5 to 10 years for anything with sweetener like honey... and while I've also had some Gentleman Jack stored for a few years at a time, I've never wanted to take the risk of it getting out of date. Same for Bushmills.
Once you've opened whiskey - six months min, two years max. YMMV.
