How much weight will sandbags take?

That depends on your base. If you start with a single bag on the bottom, you are obviously not going to get very high. If you start with 2,3,4 bags on the bottom and taper as you go up, you will go higher.

During the flood of 2015, we used feed bags (75-100lbs of sand/dirt) and went as high as 6 or 7 bags with a single bag base with no worries of tip over.
