I've just finished up the first 6 books and have only one more to go. While its not written as good as One Second After its no where near as poorly written as Patriots. It's a good book with a lot of like able characters. While the plot isn't overly complex it's entertaining and thought provoking. Definitely worth a read. I've been listening to them in Audibles which is my preferred method of booking. I'd give them a A- rating in the survival genre.
The premise is this guy named Morgan is driving home in Florida when an EMP event occurs so he gets his GHB out of his car and packs the remaining 200 miles home. He meets interesting people and gets into a few gun fights. The remaining books is him, his wife and their 3 daughters surviving the apocalypse as best they can.
