Senate means and ways committee plans for Cascadia earthquake

People are discussing the possibility of a powerful mega-thrust earthquake in the Pacific Northwest, and there seems to be two schools of thought on the topic. Some believe it will never happen and others think it will happen any day.
For the people who believe it can happen any day, it looks like the Senate Means and Ways committee is expecting it too. I'm posting a link here to a video that was sent to me by my uncle who lives in Southern California,

I thought this was important to share because to me, this video takes the idea of a Cascadia earthquake out is the speculation category and puts it into the reality category.

I can't tell anyone how I would handle this if I lived in the area, I don't know. I think I would move, given the information in this video, but if I couldn't, I'd make sure I gave myself every opportunity to survive it.
