New guy from S. INNG from southern Indiana wanting to get more prepared. This forum comes up a lot in web searches on prep subjects, decided to join so I could ask questions. Late 40's, married, homeowner in a rural area, slowly building our food and fuel supplies, fair number of firearms but plinking/hunting models mostly. Hoping to learn more about radio communications for staying in touch and coordinating with the immediate and extended family when other means aren't available and ideas for getting our vehicles prepped in case it hits the fan while we're not at home.
