A few years ago some character from central Africa ended up in Dallas with Ebola. Both the government and the medical community told anyone who would listen that Ebola was actually hard to contract. Turns out TWO nurses ended up contracting Ebola from him.
That stuff scares the crap out of me and I don't believe either the government or the medical community's story on how it isn't really that bad.
