Mega sized earth bags to make secure housing

There are several pretty good threads on this forum about using earth bags to build dwellings. Simply put, take a bag, fill it with some kind of soil, seal it off and then lay it, similar to bricks. I want to take this one step further. What if the bags used ended up producing a "brick" that was 40" long, 18" tall and 24" wide? Yes, you would need special equipment to handle them, but the resultant building would most likely be impervious to anything carried by hand. You could still put up a structure relatively quickly, as long as it did not have too many complicated turns and corners. You do not need to have a set of highly honed skills to do this kind of construction. I have thrown this question out on the "green building" forums. The idea was dismissed because of the problem handling that sized material (probably 800 pounds each!) need to use equipment to handle them and consume more resources in doing so, and the fact that the bags had to be custom made - could not be recycled rice sacks, etc. Opsec was a NOT a part of their planning horizon and decision making heuristic What sayest thou?
