PERSEC/OPSEC lesson from Florida fishing party murders

You can google the article, I am not linking to leftist media. I've read it and will summarize.

Three male friends were going camping/fishing in a remote location. One was at a rural convenience store and blabbed about it. That probably cost him and his friends their lives.

Also in the store were the suspects, including a 26 year old violent felon with 230 felony charges in his life who was a ex-convict. The three murder suspects tracked down the men, and brutally murdered them.

Operational Security (OPSEC) and Personal Security (PERSEC) are for real.

The point of posting this is as follows. I routinely see people post on social media too much about their personal lives, travel itinerary, work schedules, etc. Just way too much. It could cost you a robbery or your families lives or your life. Just maintain OPSEC and PERSEC as much as possible. Had the victim here just been vague, these three men would likely be alive.
