Which part of a generator is most likely to fail?

I have a bunch of generators but don't mess with them much.
But if pressed offer the following list.
Carburetor gum up. Plastic float warping, etc.
Brushes needing replaced.
You see ads for longer life generators with iron cylinder sleeves. So Wear on the cylinder piston and rings on the cheaper units would be an easy deduction.
Should check your valve play adjustment occasionally on any little engine. Change or clean your spark plug, change the oil, clean the air filter.

Never broke a cord on anything yet.
