gasoline generator usage tips/myths?

I recently bought this generator: https://www.championpowerequipment.c...ble-generator/

and have since read a lot of potentially true or false info about them, especially break-in. The manual just says to pour in some oil, run it for 5 hours, then replace the oil as far as breaking it in is concerned. Then just replace each 100 hours. I have additionally read lots of thing about breaking in a generator and was wondering if it was valid or if a myth:

1. Taking out spark plug and pouring in a tablespoon of oil into the plug hole to reduce initial friction.
2. Using oil conditioner.
3. Using fuel stabilizer.

Are any of these things really necessary or are they just myths based on old engine technology?
