Citizenship and the Constitution

I've been watching a documentary about Prohibition, and a comment was made that immigrants of the time had to read and have a knowledge of the Constitution in order to be allowed to become American citizens.

Now I suspect I can guess the answer to this but I'll still ask the question: Does this requirement about knowing the content of the Constitution still exist for gaining citizenship?
