7 days in white mountains NH - late May(23-31)

So I have 7 days to spend with my Dad in White Mountains National Forest.
It'll be in late May 23-31.

We are looking to hike in the day and camp in the night.
We r Both healthy and in good fit.

any places not to be missed and hikes recommendations?

I also love to hear some general tips and insights on spending a week in this park at the specified time (late-May).
