Dealing with Seasonal Allergies after SHTF

So something major happens, EMP, told economic collapse, whatever and you happen to make it a year or more. How do you deal with seasonal allergies. Most people I know have then to some degree. Mild maybe can get by, but many require medication or it gets into the lungs and that can get worse.

Medicine only lasts so long then what........

I'm looking for ideas for my kids, but I feel it is a valid question for all seasonal allergy sufferers. They may grow out of it, but right now one for the spring and one for the fall the medicine is needed.
