Would you live on Mars if a city was built there?

First, in the not to distant future several nations are planning Mars manned missions and there plans to build colonies there. NASA said it can start a colony on Mars for 10 billion dollars, which is a fraction of what it would have cost 30 years ago.

As we get closer to living on Mars, which will happen eventually, we can support these ideas and perhaps have the chance in our life time (depending how old you are) or least some of your children or grand children may have the chance.

I know I would surely sell my house and land to take the lifetime adventure to live on Mars. I also see the benefits from it.

No baby head shrinking virus, in fact no bugs.
Money is not needed. No currency. All trade and bartering skills.
No nuclear threats from either a nuclear reactor meltdown or nuclear war.
No illegal immigrants or radical muslims blowing themselves up.
No taxes.
No welfare, you grow your own food in green houses. All homes are self sustaining.
No electric bills, everything runs off solar and self sustaining power cells.
No major crime. No gangs.
No stupid govts. Freedom rules. No corrupt child molesting, drug using, stupid politicians.
No schools, all kids are home schooled.
No nit picking stupid neighbors. You can pick up your house and move at any time you want.
No speed limits. well once hydrogen fuel vehicles start showing up.
Its a big planet and lots to be explored for the first time.

Don't worry about a long trip, NASAs new engines can reach speeds up to 100,000 miles per hour and can reach Mars in a week.
A satellite the size of a car reached those speeds to catch a comet.

Prices? They start at $500,000, but will go down over time.

That sounds like paradise to me.
