Polyurethane oxidizes once opened. Can it be transferred into an airtight container for storage? Let's say I can connect a vacuum pump to the following assembly (see image) and pump some of the air out. Would that give it a few years of shelf life?
According to my calculations, the 2" 10" steel pipe should accommodate a half a pint of polyurethane.
