Prep store ideas

I have a buddy that is trying to get a preparedness store up and running. It will be a lot of online business, but there will be a store front as well. For starting small, what would you think would be the top items that people would want to see and touch before they buy? Here is a short list of ideas:

Canning and food prep equipment
Literature pertaining to food and water collection and storage
Water storage equipment
Long term storage containers
Gun and blade bar

There are other ideas, but I wanna see what ya'll would want to see in a store.
