in this exerpt there are no less than 6 Great Danes and a large Catahoula the danes are 110 lbs minimum and the Catahoula is fluffy. ALL these animals are Rescues and are appreciative to a fault.

"This weekend, we hung up a target on the bathroom door for ****** to get in some dry-firing (no bullets) practice. The target is one of the CLEET-approved targets and has a black and white photo of a sketchy-looking guy with a gun on it.
The dogs saw this two dimensional invader and promptly lost their collective marbles. Ooof...the barking...from a distance, because, ya know, Danes can be major fraidy-cats sometimes. Cue more barking....and then some more barking. Until Luna ( harlequin Dane one of the smaller ones) marched down the hall to the bathroom door, raised one front paw, slapped the paper gunman hard once and knocked him to the floor. She then huffed and went back to her nest on the bed, leaving her flat foe defeated on the floor.
