Interesting day at the range....

I went down to my local outdoor range here in Florida today which turned out being a bit surreal.......

Every single shooting lane was full and people on a waiting list to shoot.

Evey single rifle lane was shooting ar-15's or AK-47's with a single bolt action target shooter.

Both rifle and pistol lanes had a ton of new shooters.....mostly women who were bring trained by their male counterparts....on the lane next to us...a first time single woman who is scared about the unrest in the US and is determining whether owning a gun is the right thing for here.

There are also a disproportional amount of children under the age of 12 learning how to shoot pistol for the first time.

80% of the lanes were shooting at silhouette targets

There were also about 20% African American out the the range learning.

Suffice it to say....that the mix of people that were at the range today were not the usual mix of people that come to this range.

People are scared and they are arming and training up.
