When to Pick Cucumbers

I haven't heard about taste, but produce picked in the morning is at it's best quality. It has hydrated all night and is at it's highest moisture content before the sun starts dehydrating it.

I could see how loss of moisture in the hot sun could concentrate certain flavors in a cucumber so it could be true.
