5.3L cold start engine noise?

I believe it is cold start piston slap according to what I have researched. Doesnt matter the temp outside, it always happens on a cold engine start, goes away, and doesnt come back restarting with the engine still warm.

It irritates me since I have always changed the oil around 3000k and used Valvoline syn blend. Truck is a 02 and only has 83k on it and I plan on having it a long time.

Is there a easy fix to this besides a complete motor rebuild, or a new motor installed? Is it worth trying the carbon removal system from seafoam?
