I have seen other threads about this, but I am wondering if anyone here has IP cameras at home, how you like it, how well it works, what kind you have and if you take precautions that might help prevent hackers from watching you.
I really want a system so that I can watch the place from work.
Worse case I can put a trash can over each camera when we are home to prevent being spied upon with our own system. Are there other measures that can be used to keep others out? Port knocking? Time out if the wrong password us tried?
