Recently met 3 HM's embedded with Marines who are homeless or broke

Either they are really good at doing that 'Stolen Valor' thing and telling tall stories, but I believe not.

But why have I predominately, out of all other rates, and duty stations, met 3 HMs recently, that were embedded with Marines, who are on the streets, or on the verge of it?

I am a vet Navy, BM, who is on SSDI for anxiety disorder and started to talking to some homeless guys I was always seeing walking by. I have no way to really trade stories with HM's or HM's especially who were with Marines.

2 said they were HMs, with Marines, could tell me where they went to bootcamp, and other various deployment information, that I would I think be able to suss out and call crap out on fairly quick, with their head down, one has a sign that always says :why lie need money for beer: as some sort of joke while he plays guitar on the public transportation system ticket booth, and the other is literally running around doing drugs with some young girl, all strung out all the time. 1 works at a coffee bar, and does not go to the VA at all, and possibly makes like 15 an hour part time, and a nice guy, but I could tell in my own thought he was not doing his best.
