1000s of California National Guard being told they have to repay bonuses a decade lat

I saw that and it stinks. It was a military program to recruit solders with a bonus inticement and the recruiters gave the bonuses to people that they weren't supposed to. This is not the vet's problem, but the militaties and it's on them, not the vets. Tha military needs to suck it up, deal with their own mistake and leave the vets alone.
