Gear for mans best friend.

I'm in the process of creating a 72 hour pack for my dog. She's a faithful Blue Heeler cross and if I had to pull up stakes and evacuate or slip my family out of the bright lights of town and down the river or up into the hills; I would like to have her along. That said I am packing my supplies and my 2 year olds. I don't have room in my pack for another gallon of water plus dog food. So she will have to carry her own in a foot evacuation.

So here is the question I put to you. What would you pack in your dogs bag and what kind of dog vest/pack would you get?
