Has Trump Betrayed Us All?

I admit to having fairly high hopes for President Donald Trump. I actually believed him when he said he'd build a wall and Make America Great Again. He said he'd "drain the swamp" and I took him at his word.

Now it seems he's become part of that great swamp he wanted to drain. Every time he betrays his campaign promises, he's slapping the people who trusted him with their vote and the future of this country.

Why is he doing it? Has he changed his mind on these issues? Or did he never really believe in any of them?

I hoped his first action would be to assemble every executive action issued by the Obamination and cancel each one. Instead he seems to want to keep the must destructive and allow almost a million illegal aliens to remain in this country. That will probably mean all their siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins will be coming, too.

Maybe my big mistake was having hope in Trump. That hope is fading fast. He may deserve to be a one term president. If he is, he brought it on himself.
