Warehouse packaging

I can buy long gran rice from a restaurant supplier at $16.00 for a 50lb bag and Dried Navy Beans for about $40. They come in sealed paper bags and I wondered what the shelf life might be if I stored them in my basement without repackaging them.

My wife and I are both 75 so not really worried about 15 or 20 year storage. We just don't want the work of repackaging and if they lasted 5 or 6 years I would just thrown them away and start over. Any ideas?
