What to plant/grow on hillsides?

So my new property has some wooded hillsides, and some lawn hillsides, I really don't want to cut the grass on the hillsides, but I am wondering what would be good to plant where there is currently lawn? Maybe garlic, asparagus?

What would be good hillside crops on the forested hills? Or should I just fence the forested hills into sections that either pigs or goats could forage instead of trying to grow something there...but I am also thinking, blueberries, raspberries, maybe fruit trees on the hillsides?
