12 gauge reloading worth it?

Unless you are loading for trap shooting, or special loads ...so many varieties (buck and ball, flechettes, various buckshot that you can't buy....may not be worth it.
As you pointed out ....You need to stock all those components.

Now on the other hand....if you are concerned with ability to build shotshells in a extreme shortage.....It's good to have the ability.

Cost wise.?...no, not to me....

I do use a Lee Loader "Bop a mole" loader for shot shells...load one at a time.
