favorite fridge "layout/style"?

So,mom got her Trump check,and it time for a new fridge anyways,so time to start looking.Current one is whirlpool/roper,traditional freezer on top,fridge below.
20 some years ago had an upright with the freezer on the left/fridge on the right..can't really remember if it was as convienent as the current layout.
Never had any other type,but been to other homes.Some have 2 fridge doors and a freezer,or freezer on the bottom,or any other combination you can think of.
Haven't even started looking yet,only thing I really want is an icemaker,doesn't need to be in the door,or water.

So basically,considering we are getting older,what style do you prefer for ease of getting things out,finding things,just ease of use?

Don't worry about brand,just style/layout.
