I confess I've never understood the great attraction. They're just ordinary commercial bakery cookies.

Maybe back when the Scouts baked their own, they were something special, but the contracted bakeries don't make them for the GS any better than the cookies off the same assembly lines with other brand names. For $7 to $8 a pound, I'd want something a lot better.
