Is it just me, or do all of their plans ultimately fail because they have no understanding of the things they are trying to restrict or regulate? New York wants to pass mandatory firearm owners' liability insurance, as a disincentive to people owning guns, yet the only prominent source of such insurance in the marketplace is through the NRA, and membership is tacked onto the price of the policy.

If the law passes, they will be obligating every gun owner in New York to join the same NRA that fights them in the legislatures and the courts. Dumbasses.
