Citric Acid for deer field dressing

I can't answer as I've never heard of that. Never heard of the vinegar thing either.
I tend to take the deer home and clean it there, unless I'm just harvesting backstraps and roasts, then it's do your cutting and into the Walmart bags... I can clean the grass and hair off at home.
